What if I swallow the denture fixative?

If the fixative is carefully applied, there should be no surplus to be swallowed. However it is quite normal for residual fixative to be ingested. As with any product used orally, it is non-toxic and not harmful in any way. Stafford-Miller fixatives are subjected to a full toxicity process to meet regulations as laid down by the European directive.
